What Places you can visit near MRT Jakarta Stations Area? đźš„

Hello, This is Daffa writing about my trip experience again. So for those who read this, I am going to tell you about places near Jakarta MRT (Mass Rapid Transits) stations area. I hope by reading this, you know about the places you can visit and food you can eat near MRT Jakarta area as your references when you get there. I hope you enjoy reading this writing.

So there are 14 MRT Jakarta Stations that you can try to visit every places near MRT Jakarta stations area start from Lebak Bulus Grab Station to Bundaran HI Station.

Lebak Bulus Grab MRT Station

Lebak Bulus Grab MRT Station is the first station if you’re in South Jakarta. In that area, There are not much of choices to go but If you want to go West Jakarta Area, There is a Bus Station to go there. Other than that, You can go to Poins Square Mall and TRANSMART Lebak Bulus Mall.

Fatmawati Indomaret MRT Station

In this Station, I never visited this one but my friends say you can go to Basoeki Abdullah Museum from that station. Basoeki Abdullah Museum is an art museum that contains paintings and the personal collection of Basoeki Abdullah, including statues, masks, puppets, and weapons.

Cipete Raya MRT Station

Every time I went to MRT Cipete Raya Station, I will visited one of the cafes because there are a lot of Cafes and Restaurants in this area. My favorite one is Stuja Coffe with its Ice Coffee and its various unique noodles. I suggest if you want to find unique cafes near this station is the answer.

Haji Nawi MRT Station

In this Station, There are also a lot of Coffee shops. From this station, you can go to ITC Fatmawati where you can do shopping primarily buying electronics there. There is also a Japanese Restaurant that I recommend you to go there.

Blok A MRT Station

Near this Station, there is a Market called Blok A Market (That’s why the name of the station is Blok A station because near that market). There are also a lot of coffee shops there.

Blok M BCA MRT Station

In this station, I have a lot of recommendations to visit. First, this station is connected to Blok M Square Mall but there’s also Blok M Plaza Mall that you can go on walking for less than a half kilometer.

Other than that, I would recommend visiting this Coffee shop called “Filosofi Kopi” because this cafe is famous since there was a film called Filosofi Kopi about 2 friends who do a cafe business together. The cafe in the film is the Filosofi Kopi cafe which is close to the Blok M BCA MRT Station.

There is also a place called Little Tokyo where you can visit Cafes, Restaurants, and Japanese markets where you feel like you are in Japan. Sometimes I met a lot of Japanese who lived in Indonesia there.

The last place I would recommend is M Bloc Space. Usually, people go to this place to hangout, visit cafes, and take pictures since there are a lot of spots for taking pictures to post on Instagram. Sometimes, there is also live music there so It’s quite lively.

ASEAN MRT Station

This station can be an alternative way you go to M Bloc Space by walking for 450 meters. Near that station you can also walk to Al-Azhar Mosque with beautiful White looks for the Mosque.

Senayan MRT Station

Near this Station, There are a lot of Malls like Senayan City, Plaza Senayan, Ratu Plaza, and FX Sudirman. If you are a fan of JKT 48 I would recommend you go to FX Sudirman Mall since there’s this theatre of JKT 48 There. This is Station also not far to go to Gelora Bung Karno which is a place for people to jog and do other sports activities.

Istora Mandiri MRT Station

In this Station, you can visit Hutan Kota by Plataran which is a Park in Gelora Bung Karno Area that has a concept like a jungle. Other than that, You can visit the Moja Museum where you can take pictures of the Unique arts, and make paintings mostly make an abstract paintings so you can create your art. Near this station, you can visit Pacific Place Mall and Near the station, there’s Office District Area called SCBD (Sudirman Central Business District).

Bendungan Hilir MRT Station

Near this station are mostly office areas but you can also go to this Unique Bridge called Jpo Pinisi. What makes this bridge unique is there’s this ship-shape in the middle of the bridge and most people take pictures there for their social media posts. Other than that, You can go to a lot of places to eat like Padang Cuisine and other Indonesian Cuisine where you can Explore Culinary there.

Setiabudi Astra MRT Station

I only visited this station once because mostly near that station has a lot of Office Buildings but there are also shopping centers around the Setiabudi area (If I recall there are shopping centers called Epicentrum Walk and Setia Budi One close to the station).

Dukuh Atas BNI MRT Station

This Station is close to KRL Station (Another Train Station If you want to go to Tangerang, Depok, Bekasi, and Bogor) that’s why this station is crowded with office workers using public transportation. Above this station, there is a beautiful park that you can go to with your friends to hang out with. This Park is also quite famous because of an event in July 2022 called “Citayem Fashion Week”. There is also a tunnel with a lot of Graffiti on the wall that looks aesthetic. There are also a lot of places to eat like restaurants, mini markets, and food stalls.

Bundaran HI MRT Station

This Station is the last stop if you started your trip from Lebak Bulus Grab. Near this station, there is a bus station where you can go to MONAS (National Monument of Indonesia) where you can learn the history of Indonesia and Take Pictures of this big Monument, or you can go to Kota Tua which is a Historical Place in Jakarta where you can see and learn about Jakarta in Colonial Era (Back then Jakarta was called Batavia). Near this Station, There are a lot of Malls like Plaza Indonesia, Grand Indonesia, and Thamrin City. Lastly, There is an iconic statue in the roundabout area near the station called Bunderan HI. This statue is a monument that shows a welcome to people who go to Jakarta. The Name HI also stands for Hotel Indonesia where there is a hotel near the Monument.

MRT Station is a comfy and safe public transportation in Jakarta and importantly has a lot of places to go near that station.
