Hello, This is Daffa writing about my trip experience and It’s been a while since my last writing. So for those who read this, I am going to tell you about the time when I went to Hongkong for Student Trip to Hongkong that was held by my Junior High School back in 2013. Back then, there was this announcement about the trip to Hongkong and I was excited to go there So I ask my parents if I was able to join this trip and my parents approved it. I hope by reading this, you know about the places you can visit in Hongkong as your references when you get there. I hope you enjoy reading this writing.

When I was in 8th Grade, I went on this student trip to Hongkong that was held by my JHS (Junior High School) in 2013. I was so excited because I went overseas and go to Disneyland which is always been on my bucket list to visit back then. I remember arriving there in the morning suddenly I feel sick (maybe because of the long flight) So I feel sad if I am not able to go to Disneyland especially try every ride there. Surprisingly, when we get to Disneyland, My sickness suddenly disappeared and I can’t wait to try every ride there.

DISNEYLAND HONGKONG

When I arrived at Disneyland I am so excited because I can see that famous castle that I always see at the opening of the Disney Movies. Back then, I was 13 maybe that’s why I am a Lil bit childish with this excitement to go to this fantasy land and every kid dream to go here.

When I get Inside I already saw a Cinderella near the gate and I feel like “wow I get to meet Cinderella” even though I know It’s only a beautiful woman dress up as Cinderella.

While I was there, I played a lot of rides like Orbitron, Autopia (The ride was closed in 2016), and Stitch Encounter (Also closed in 2016) in Tomorrowland Area. other than that area there is also another area that I tried to ride and watch like Toy Story Area is one of my favorite areas since I love watching toy story. The Rides that I try in Toy Story Area are RC Racer, Slinky Dog Spin, and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop. There are a lot of fun rides there but my favorite ride is Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars. It’s a unique ride because It’s an extreme roller coaster but what makes it extreme is that the ride can be backward so you feel scared and excited at the same time. Other than the Ride, I also go to a museum about Disney Characters, Eat delicious Chicken, and Buy Souvenirs.

After spending all day in Disneyland, I saw fireworks at Night that were a sign for Disneyland to close. It was fascinating, and I think it was the best fireworks I have ever seen. Unfortunately, I only took pictures of the fireworks instead record them as a video but hopefully, the pictures amazed you.

MADAME TUSSAUDS

On the next day, We visited The Hongkong Madame Tussauds. At first, I thought why we want to see a wax sculpture of famous people because I think it was boring. That is until I see in person the sculpture is so realistic and I feel amazed with the sculpture. What makes me amazed there are some famous people that I know like Elvis, The Beatles, and Jet Li who look so realistic with details like real person has. It feels like I take pictures with a real person. You can see the pictures in Fig 5 and sorry if the resolution isn’t clear.

Other Activities in Hongkong

On the last day in Hong Kong, I took a walk around the city of Hong Kong, especially in the Avenue of Stars area. I do some quick jogging and then try to find local foods (Hongkong halal food), and buy clothes and souvenirs of Hongkong. While I walk around, I feel amazed by the views and surprisingly I met a Giant Duck (It’s a balloon Giant Size Duck).

I didn’t remember much about my student trip to Hongkong since it’s been 9 years but Hongkong is the best place to visit especially Disneyland Hongkong. Hopefully, I can be writing often like before to tell my story, especially about my trip. I hope whoever reads this can feel entertained and get insights about what places and activities you should visit in Hongkong. to anyone reading this hope you can give me a review to write better in the future.
